Gigs

I regularly play at sessions and for dancers with the Starry Plough Ceili Band, the longest running traditional Irish ceili dance west of Ireland (that I know of). I have played with groups at the KVMR Celtic Music Festival and the Sea Music Festival in San Francisco in addition to local St. Patrick’s day gigs.

Session live-stream

Although our beloved Starry Plough pub was forced shut down during the pandemic, I have been co-organizing a monthly session over Zoom and streamed via YouTube.

Teaching

This year I have also been a teaching assistant, helping Shay Black put on his regular Folk Song Repertoire class remotely for the Freight & Salvage, a Berkeley folk music institution.
